
The Individual Fitness Essentials Program combines the latest techniques in Physical Screening, Personal Training, Nutrition and Massage Therapy.The 3-part process described below explains what to expect during your evaluation and why we encourage all clients to begin their fitness program with the Personalized Physical Screening.
Personalized Physical Screening
- Your Medical History is reviewed with your Personal Trainer to discuss past injuries, surgeries, medications, aches, pains, bodily limitations and overall health.
- Your Fitness Goals are set. They may include pain reduction, weight loss, specific muscle-group development, body toning, better balance, prevention of osteoporosis, improved sports performance, stress/blood pressure reduction, and other personal goals.
- Your Present Physical Condition will be evaluated by your Personal Trainer, taking your Medical History, your Body and your Physical Goals into consideration.
We assess:
- Posture - to insure your proper body alignment/exercise form;
- Range of Motion - to check, and if indicated, work to improve your flexibility;
- Functional Ability - to enhance your performance during essential daily activities;
- Physical Endurance - to provide the strength that sustains muscle contractions needed to support your back, abdomen, hips, knees, etc.;
Specialized Personal Training
Programs for all ages and abilities including:
- General Health & Fitness
- Sports Specific Conditioning
- Balance Training
- Post-Rehabilitation
- Weight Loss
- Prevention of Osteoporosis
- Flexibility Programs
We offer Personal Training programs in your home, office or on-site at our Fitness Center.
Your program will begin with the Personalized Physical Screening.
Personal Training Fees are available upon request
Locations outside the Upper East Side are billed at a higher rate for all trainers.
Fees are based on a session conducted for one person. Sessions conducted with more than one person are an additional $25.00 per person, per session.
Fees do not include NYS 4% tax and are subject to change.
